Margaret I. Resch

Margaret I. Resch, known to her loved ones as Marge, passed away at the age of 73 on September 25, 2023, surrounded by her family, at Mercy Medical Center.

Born in Baltimore to the late Rodger W. and Dorothy E. Rafferty, Marge was a woman of strength and resilience. Despite enduring numerous back surgeries and facing tremendous pain throughout her life, she always wore a warm smile that touched the hearts of all who knew her. Her unwavering spirit and determination were an inspiration to those around her. She found solace in traveling and also enjoyed reading.

Marge's beloved husband of 38 years, Charles J. Resch III, was her rock and companion throughout their journey together. In addition to her husband, Marge is survived by her dear siblings, Joe Rafferty (Carol), Paul Rafferty (Sherry), Wayne Rafferty (Dawn), and Linda Metzger (David).

Marge will be lovingly remembered by her adoring nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who were touched by her kindness and grace.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2^nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Friday, Sept. 29^th, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
