Margaret Strickler

Margaret M. Strickler, 85, of Ferndale died on July 27, 2011. Margaret was born in 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Eastern High School. Margaret was a dedicated worker at the Baltimore Box Company. She was a member and volunteer of Peace Lutheran Church and attended the Pascal Senior Center. Her hobbies included knitting, watching British comedies and going out to eat for lunch and dinner. She especially enjoyed going to the Sunset Restaurant. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Robert R. Strickler; son, Louis S. Strickler; and sister, Marie Brown. She is survived by three children, Margaret Rae Valabek, and Robert R. Strickler, Jr., Paul L. Strickler; three grandchildren, Jarrod Strickler, Michael Valabek and Andreya Valabek; three great-grandchildren, Elias, Alia and Ava.
