Margy Elizabeth Steinbock

Margy Elizabeth Steinbock, 85, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020.  Margy was born on July 15, 1935, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Marjie and Charles Jurkewitz.  She worked as a receptionist for Koch Associates in Annapolis, retiring in 2000.  Margy was a member of a Book Club, Elks Lodge, and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Ocean City.   She was an avid reader and she enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family & friends.

Margy was predeceased by her devoted husband of 59 and a half years, Rudolph R. Steinbock.  She is survived by her cherished daughters, Margaret S. Browne and Patricia L. Harrington; and her dear granddaughter, Autumn Lynn Harrington.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy), on Wednesday, July 29, from 2 – 4 & 6-8 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will be on Thursday, July 30, at 11 AM, in the funeral home chapel.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Margy’s name may be made to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 22918 Dupont Boulevard, Georgetown, Delaware 19947  OR visit www.bvspca.org.  To offer condolences to the Steinbock family, please visit www.singletonfuneralhome.com.
