Maria Theresa Guido, 56 of Hanover, Maryland passed away on April 24, 2015. Maria was born in 1958 in Maryland. She attended Lansdowne High School, Class of 1976. Maria enjoyed art and was a self-proclaimed artist. She also liked music, playing games, swimming, dancing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Norman James Guido, Sr.; daughter, Jacklyn M. Mello and her husband John; step-son, Norman J. Guido, Jr. and his wife Amy; grandson, John Thomas Mello; two step-grandchildren, Devin and Delaney Guido; mother, Marie T. Carter; three brothers, Walter O. Carter, III and his wife Carol, Kenneth J. Carter, and Dennis D. Carter and his wife Kim; and three sisters, Gail A. Ray and her husband Steve, Sandy C. Carter, and Ann Squire and her husband Robert. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter O. Carter, Jr.; and her sisters, Theresa S. Smith and Patricia A. Carter. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made in her name to the Terry Smith Foundation, 1151 Ridge Drive, Pasadena, MD 21122.
