Marie Galante

On Friday, December 2, 2022, Marie “Annette” Galante of Glen Burnie passed away peacefully with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Edward "Eddie" T. Galante. Loving mother of Edward “Tom” Galante and his wife Deborah, Ann-Louise Donnelly and her husband Craig, Sheila M. Galante, Michael D. Galante and his wife Ivy, Sharon Cooper and her husband William, Stephen J. Galante and his wife Amy and Justine L. Fields. Devoted grandmother of Craig, Nicholas, Jared, Philip, Joseph, Richard, Katie, Karen, Justine, Paul, Michael, Jeremy, Anthony and Kathy. Sister of Marjorie Cahill, Eileen Jansky and the late Rudolph, Paul, Gerard “Luke”, John and Lawrence Bates and Pauline Thompson. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. She was preceded in death also by her parents; Mary and James Bates.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 Second Avenue, SW, (at Crain Highway) Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, December 9, 2022 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 801 Stevenson Road, Severn, MD 21144 at 11:00 am. Her inurnment will be held at a later date privately at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St Bernadette Catholic Church.
