Marie Prieto

Marie E. Prieto, 90, of Glen Burnie and a 60 year resident of Anne Arundel County passed away on July 19, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. Marie enjoyed bowling and was an avid Ravens Fan and loved spending time with her family. She dedicated her life to her children with her unconditional love and they were able to return their love by caring for her after she was diagnosed with dementia. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Prieto; her daughter, Veronica Schellenschlager and her brother, Andrew Rydock. She is survived by her children, Theresa Johnson, Joseph Prieto, Gregory Prieto, Andrea Prieto, Jeanne Johnson and Manuel Prieto. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchilden.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Tuesday, July 25th from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Holy Trinity Church on Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment on Thursday at St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery, Dallas, PA.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
