Marie Shay

On June 30, 2008, Marie Madeline Ruth Shay passed on. Marie was dearly loved by her late husband of over 50 years, Lawrence Edward Shay; her beloved children, Marilyn Loseck and Laura Lee Philbrick; her dear brothers, Arthur F. Hillary and Theodore F. Hillary; her loving sister, Mary Mae Hale; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Marie was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1915. She went to high school at the Glen Burnie High School. She worked at Hoschild Kohn in Harundale Mall in the Linen department. Marie was a member of the Pasadena Seniors and the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed many hobbies in life including shopping. She also loved entertaining at church, known as "Twinkle Toes". She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was a dear woman who will be missed by many.
