Marilyn Joyce Hohlbein, 89, of Glen Burnie, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center on February 3, 2020. She was born in Hartford, PA to the late Merl and Erma Williams. She worked at C&P Telephone Co. and H&M Signs as an officer manager. Marilyn was an active and supporting member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Linthicum. She enjoyed spending time with her family, telling jokes, singing, gardening, woodworking and crafts, and talking with her customers. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hohlbein; daughter, Claudia Lamontagne; and her siblings, Elna Nordahl, Ruth Hinckley, Bette Golas, Norma Fink and Kenneth Williams.
Marilyn is survived by her loving sons, Dan West and Keith Hohlbein (Karen); beloved grandchildren, Jacob West, Joshua West, Donna Hohlbein, Ashley Poe and Keith Hohlbein Jr.; nine cherished great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy), on Thursday, Feb. 6th, from 4-7 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, 11 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or by visiting www.stjude.org
