Marion Meidenbauer

July 25, 1928 — June 28, 2016

On Tuesday, June 28, 2016, Marion B. Meidenbauer passed away peacefully at the age of 87. Marion was the daughter of Henry and Rose (Brachmann) Beiter and lived in Buffalo and N. Tonawanda, NY before moving to Maryland in the late 1960s. She is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth G. Meidenbauer. Surviving her are five children, Frank K. (Blanca), Richard H. (Patricia), Catherine M. (Mark) Frank, Joanne M. (Richard) Wonders, and Barbara A. (Roger) Shanks, 12 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Marion served for many years as secretary to Maryland State Treasurers in Annapolis. She loved reading mysteries and gardening, but she especially treasured the weekly family dinner gatherings that remained a constant in her family's lives for decades.

The family invites friends and family to join them at the Singleton Funeral Home in Glen Burnie on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 2-4 PM and 5-7 PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church in Millersville on Monday, July 11th at 10:00 AM, followed by services at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery at 11:30. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd in Glen Burnie or the Alzheimer's Association.
