Marjorie Shipley

Marjorie Elizabeth Shipley, 87, of Los Fresnos, TX and previously of Maryland passed away on April 20, 2014. Marjorie was born in 1926 in Baltimore, MD. She worked as a reporter for the Maryland Gazette, where she would ride her bike to get to the location of the story. Marjorie was a member of the Ladies Club of Hanover and was the area Vice President of the PTA for Anne Arundel County. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, drawing, and loved to laugh and smile. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Donald Joseph Shipley, Sr.; six children, Doreen Elizabeth Shipley, Donald Joseph Shipley, Jr., Harry August Shipley, Timothy Patrick Shipley, Margaret Ellen Shipley-Nichols, and Paul Leroy Shipley; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.
