Mark Handschuh

Mark Paul Handschuh, 66, of Severn passed away on Monday, Aug. 28, 2017 suddenly at home.

Mark was born September 3, 1950 one of three children to the late Edward W. and Margaret (Hamilton) Handschuh and raised on a farm in Anne Arundel County. Mark graduated in 1968 from Arundel High School. After High School Mark begin working for N.S.A as an analyst for 38 years. In 1996 Mark met Sharon Ann Somers at a dance and they have been inseparable since. Mark was a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his family usually making jokes and pranks on them. He was a Civil War enthusiast, he also enjoyed volleyball, piano, house projects, and shopping. Mark was a great host he and Sharon enjoyed opening their home for family events and their annual Volley Ball Cook-out.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon A. Handschuh; brother, Richard Handschuh; children, Stacey Handschuh Paugh, Amanda Orme, and Shaun Handschuh; step children, Lauren Bailey, Greg Wiegmann, and Todd Pickett, 6 beloved grandchildren including Tyler Pickett and Justin Ballard who he shared a special relationship with.
