On May 15, 2010, MARLENE VIRGINIA CLAY (nee AMEY) of Pasadena, formerly of "Pig Town", Baltimore City; beloved wife of 32 years to the late Edward F. Clay; devoted mother of Jeffrey C. Clay, Edward J. Clay, Michael T. Clay, William "Billy" Sampson, Roxanne L. Fitzgerald, Rochelle L. Ryan, Robin J. Reinke, and Amy (Tina) Turner; dear sister of Juanita Neisser and her husband Tom; loving grandmother of 24; cherished great-grandmother of 18; and devoted great-great-grandmother of five. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Amey. Marlene enjoyed bingo, slots, bowling, traveling to Ocean City and playing the arcades, watching her children and grandchildren play sports, and was an avid Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan.
