On April 16, 2007, Marlene E. Simon-Berg passed on. Marlene was happily married to her loving husband of 33 years, Aubrey L. Berg. She is survived by her dear sons, Scott and Bryant Berg; her dear sister, Carole Adams; and four grandchildren. Marlene was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1931. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army. She was awarded the Army of Occupation Medal in Germany. She was active in the Acapella Groups. In the world of U.S. politics, she was a longtime devoted Democrat. She enjoyed many hobbies in life including gardening, walking, listening to music and watching movies. She loved making everyone around her happy. She especially did this with her great sense of humor. Marlene was an active socialite and enjoyed being an entertainer. She loved travelling to the casinos. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. A memorial service will be held for Marlene at a later date.
