Mary Brooks

On May 16, 2009, Mary Jean Brooks, a life long resident of Glen Burnie. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Brooks, Jr.; loving mother of Howard Brooks, Sr., John Brooks, Jo Ann Brooks-Cole, and Bruce Brooks; caring grandmother of three; cherished great grandmother of four; and devoted great-great-grandmother of one. She was preceded in death by one brother, Lee Buckingham. Jean was born in Maryland to the late Howard Leroy and Miriam I. Buckingham. Her greatest hobby in life was bowling. She bowled for many years, and worked as a manager for the bowling alley.
