Mary Drocella

On, November 26, 2017, Mary Elizabeth Drocella, 86, of Glen Burnie, passed away in her home. Mary, was born on June 28, 1931, in Flat Woods, Kentucky, to the late Eunice and Nathaniel Douglas. She worked for Valic Annuity Company as a secretary and she enjoyed writing poems, fishing, and loved owls.
Mary was predeceased by her devoted husband of 37 years, Charles Frank Drocella, and her son, William Drocella. She is survived by her beloved children, Brenda Pleasant, Michael Drocella, Sandy Turner, Donna Drocella, and Connie Pulliam; her loving grandchildren, Michael, Jamie, Ronnie, Shaun, Joshua, Shannon, Heather, Rachel, Amy, Julie, and Will; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Taylor, Russell, Cheyenne, Noah, Madelyn, Mariah, Miranda, Logan, Adam, and Zachary.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Wednesday, November 29th, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, November 30th, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
