Mary Boyd

MARY FRANCES BOYD, 57, of Gambrills, passed away at her residence in Gambrills on Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Mary was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 6, 1951. She graduated from St. Joseph Hospital Nursing School as a Registered Nurse. She has spent over 30 years as a Registered Nurse, working as an Emergency Room nurse at University Hospital and Mercy Medical Center and most recently working in the Sameday Surgery Department at Mercy Medical Center. Mary sang with the Praise Team at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling, especially her wine trips. She liked bird watching, singing and cooking. Mary loved caring for people, you can say she was a "collector of people." She is survived by her beloved husband of 28 yrs., Skip Boyd and is the devoted mother of Matt and Allie Boyd; dear sister of Robert, Michael and David Kalb and the late Kathleen Kalb.
