Mary Hall

On June 24, 2008, Mary Kathryn Hall passed on. Mary was dearly loved by her wonderful brother, Chuck Lechner and his wife Kathy, and her loving nephews, Michael and Keith. Mary loved animals, especially her cats Shane and Simone. She will also be missed by her wide circle of friends. Mary was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1948. She graduated from Baldwin High School in 1960. She then graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where she studied Elementary Education with a History minor. She was then an Elementary Teacher at Point Pleasant Elementary School and Quarterfield Elementary for 34 years. Mary was a former choir director at Ferndale. She was also a member of the Retired Teacher's Association. She enjoyed many hobbies in life including travelling and watching plays and musicals. She dearly loved animals. She liked to exercise. Mary loved volunteering at food drives and the Chesapeake Arts Center. She liked to play the piano. She collected many nick-nacks. She was a good neighbor and friend and she will be missed by many.
A Memorial Service will be held for Mary at Ferndale United Methodist Church, 117 Ferndale Road, Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on August 16, 2008 at 1:30pm.
