Mary Laughter

Mary L. Laughter, 67, of Glen Burnie, passed away on September 7, 2015. Mary was born on January 14, 1948 in Cumberland, MD. She worked for H&R Block and the Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Mary was a member of the Glen Burnie Improvement Association and volunteered at the carnival for 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, cooking and baking, crafting, raising butterflies and watching hummingbirds.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Irwin, Sr. and Mabel Irwin; and her sister, Jane Lehman. Mary is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Laughter; her children, Michael Laughter and his wife, Amy; and Nicholas Laughter and his wife, Christina; her grandchildren, Ethan, Joseph and Alexis Laughter; her siblings, John Irwin, Jr. and his wife, Nell; Martha Ward and her husband, Tom; and her brother-in-law, Ernest Lehman.

The family request memorial contributions to be made to the National Children's Cancer Society, 500 N. Broadway, Suite 1850, St. Louis, MO 63102.
