On September 8, 2016, Mary Josephine Mancini, 90, passed away in Sanford, Florida. She was born on October 7, 1925, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Josephine and Salvatore Mogavero. Mary worked in as a postal service clerk for the United States Postal Service for 15 years and she enjoyed cooking and being with her family.
Mary was predeceased by her devoted husband of 59 years, Joseph J. Mancini, her sister, Delores Shriver, and her great-grandson, Joseph Talbert, Jr. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Joanne Buck and Linda Mancini; her dear son-in-law, Michael Buck; her loving grandchildren, Joseph Talbert, Jason Talbert, Stephanie Buck, and Matthew Buck; and cherished great-grandson, Tyler Talbert; and her beloved siblings, Rose Esposito, Sarah Bonafazi, Anthony Mogavero, Theresa Taylor, Samuel Mogavero, and Joseph Mogavero. Mary is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie on Friday, September 16th, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 17th, at 11 AM at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 6736 Youngstown Avenue, Baltimore MD 21222. Interment Oaklawn Cemetery in Baltimore.
