Mary Meyers

On November 16, 2017, Mary Juanita "Leggs" Meyers, 90, of Glen Burnie, passed away at her home. Mary, better known by her middle name, Juanita, was born on February 8, 1927, in Baltimore, MD, to the late Margaret and Samuel Hunt. She worked for many years at Hutzler's in Southdale. Juanita enjoyed playing BINGO, and cheering on the Orioles and Ravens, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
Juanita is survived by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth F. Meyers; her loving children, Dennis Meyers and his wife Judy, Gary Meyers and his wife Marlene, and Donald Meyers and his wife Bonnie; her beloved grandchildren, Steven, Noyl, Sarah, Michael, and John; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Madison, Owen, and Khloe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, November 21st, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, November 22nd, at 9:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Juanita's name may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD 21122.
