On January 7, 2017, Mary Jean Patrick, 81, passed away at Hands of Loving Care Assisted Living Facility in Glen Burnie. Mary was born in 1935 in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Anna and Charles Bonner. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in teaching from East Stroudsburg State University and went on to teach English at Glen Burnie, Andover, and Brooklyn Park High Schools. She then went on to own Toy Box Treasures, where she bought and sold dolls and teddy bears. Mary was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church where she was past president of the Sodality. She enjoyed collecting dolls and teddy bears and was an avid reader.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Edward Patrick. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Anne Patrick and her husband Richard Nuss, and her son, Thomas Patrick and his wife Tamra; and her grandchildren, Trace Nuss, Chaz Patrick and Gavin Patrick.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the National Shrine of St. Alphonsus Liguori, 114 W. Saratoga Street, Baltimore, MD 21201 on Friday, January 13th, at 1:30 PM.
