Mary Woerner

Mary Helen Kimes Woerner, 68, a 20 year resident of Anne Arundel County, passed away on May 17, 2012 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was born July 9, 1943 in Baltimore, MD to Dorothy Virginia and Duffy Kimes, Sr. Mary worked with Household Bank for 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling to Ocean City, in which she would do twice a year with her husband, her cat 'Pinky", art, flowers, and was also an avid reader. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 19 years, Ronald D. Woerner; two children, Regina Froese and husband Garry and Lawrence Geppi; three grandchildren, Hannah, Ryan and Michael McConnell; and five siblings, Nancy Smith, Clifton Kimes, William Kimes, Richard Kimes and Carole Beach. Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Duffy Kimes, Jr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street; Alexandria, VA 22311.
