Maurice Walter

Mr. Walter was a devoted husband to Eleanor Walter for 50 years. He is survived by two loving daughters, Susan Handy and Barbara Bennett; two sisters, Rita Trogler and Adna Bunn; and one brother, William Walter. Mr. Walter was a dear grandfather of seven.

Born in Baltimore on July 4, 1921, Mr. Walter owned the Monarch Roofing Comapny for forty years. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus-St. Agnes Council, and the Elks Lodge #2266. Maurice enjoyed woodworking, building rocking horses, restoring antique cars, gardening, traveling in his motor home, steaming crabs, and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren.
