Mavis A. McIntyre, a resident of Glen Burnie for 45 years. Beloved wife of 59 years to Charles "Chuck" McIntyre; loving mother of Lynne Zebrowski and her husband Allan, Charles McIntyre and his wife Angie, Richard McIntyre and Mar Murphy, Kathleen Keller and her husband Steve, Kevin McIntyre and his wife Terry, Karen Phelan and her husband Pat, Theresa Gooch and her husband Tom, John McIntyre and his wife Gina, and Tom McIntyre; cherished grandmother of Steve, Robert, and Mark Zebrowski, Charles and Matthew McIntyre, Heather Robinson, Tony McIntyre, Julie Murphy, Erin Adams, Holly McIntyre-DeWitt, Ashley Kenealy, Timothy, Kenneth, and Daniel Phelan, Christina Cox, Melissa Ellison, Cassie Smith, John McIntyre, Jr., William McIntyre and the late Charles Zebrowski; devoted great grandmother of Ashley Robinson, Balian Adams, Michael Johnson, Christopher, Dylan, and Kyra Cox, Hannah Hammel, Nicademus and Emma Smith; dear sister of William Gray, Frank Gray, Annette Van de Zande, Larry Gray, and the late Robert Gray and Betty Marshall. Mavis graduated from Winslow High School in 1949. She belonged to the Ladies Auxillary Fleet Reserve Association for over 40 years. Mavis was a long time volunteer for Navy-Marine Corps. Relief Society's Naval Station Thrift Shop in Annapolis. She also enjoyed crocheting, and needlework.
