Maxine R. Kinder

Maxine R. Kinder, a beloved figure known for her vibrant spirit and dedication to her work, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on May 22, 1942, Maxine lived a life filled with rich experiences and meaningful connections.

Her career was distinguished by her time spent working at the National Security Agency (NSA), BWI airport, and a local hotel. Maxine's work ethic and commitment to service were evident throughout her professional life, where she was respected by colleagues and patrons alike.

Beyond her career, Maxine had a variety of interests that brought joy to her life. She enjoyed bowling, exploring history, and cherishing the companionship of her beloved cats.

Maxine is survived by her sister-in-law, Dolores J. Seman; her niece, Catherine S. McNicholas; her great-nephew, Raphael C. Szeman; her great-niece, Tahnee McNicholas; and her dear friend, Kathy Smith. Each of these individuals has been touched by her warmth and kindness, and they will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

She was predeceased by her parents, James C. Seman and Susan J. Seman, and her husband, Alton Robert Kinder. Their love and support were foundational to Maxine's life and will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

A visitation to honor Maxine will take place on March 13, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Both events will be held at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 1 2nd Ave SW, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.

Maxine R. Kinder will be remembered for her unwavering spirit, profound impact on those around her, and the love she shared throughout her life. She leaves behind a legacy of care and compassion that will not be forgotten.
