Mazie Regina Dutton, 74, of Glen Burnie, passed away on Thursday, August 26th 2021. Mazie was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 31st 1946 to the late, Charles and Mazie Virginia Gastiger (nee Watts). Mazie married Harry Dutton Jr., in 1965 and stayed home to raise her 3 children. She loved to go camping and taking their annual trip to the beach. Mazie loved Christmas, and was always ready to put up the Christmas tree, however her favorite holiday was Halloween. She loved taking spontaneous trips with Harry on weekends and going to Apple Bees or Crackle Barrel after their adventures. Mazie was known for her unconditional love, she truly loved and welcomed everyone. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Mazie is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Harry Dutton Jr., her daughters, June Dutton, and Sandra (Jason) Kersey, her granddaughter, Angelina Broseker (Austin Bell), grandson, Matthew Broseker, and granddaughter, Alexandra Kersey, and her great grandchildren, Maddie, Maverick, and Kayden. In addition to her parents, Mazie is preceded in death by her son, Harry Dutton III, her brother, Charles Lee Gastiger, sister-in-law, Barbara Gastiger, and her best friend Charlotte Cooper.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Friday, September 3rd from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, September 4th at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
