Melissa Maples

Melissa Mallonee Maples, 35, passed away on April 9, 2014. She was born in Washington, DC on August 25, 1978. She spent her childhood in Maryland City, a place where she participated in rec sports, enjoyed the pool, and would make life-long friendships. Melissa was a passionate animal lover. She was smitten about her two cats, George and Romo, and her dog Popeye. Melissa had an enormous love for music and was an avid John Mayer fan. Other favorite past times included being outdoors, swimming, the beach and watching movies.

Melissa is survived by her husband of 12 years, Gary; two daughters Alexis and Ellie Maples; three stepsons, Curtis, Stephen, and Daniel Maples; her parents, George Mallonee and Ruth Amos; along with two loving stepfathers, Bill Amos and Frank Herrmann; sister, Heather Mallonee; three nieces, Alyssa, Maddi, and Reese; and loving step-siblings, Adrienne, Toni, Richie, Tina, and Frankie.
