Melvin Leizear Jr

Melvin Lewis Leizear, Jr., 81, of Severn passed away on February 1, 2015. Melvin was born in 1933 in Takoma Park, Maryland. He served in the US Navy from 1949-1951. Melvin loved anything to do with racing, had a passion for cooking, enjoyed gardening, loved animals, and was known to be very handy and have a kind heart. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mary L. Leizear. He is survived by three sons, Melvin, Michael and Shane Leizear; grandson, Michael Leizear, Jr.; great-grandson, William Leizear; great-granddaughter, Lily Leizear; and his beloved dog Goldie.
