He worked as a Master Carpenter for 39 years at Star Construction / Commercial Carpentry Corp. and was a member of Union #1590. Melvin was also a life long farmer in Odenton.
He is survived by his daughter Linda Egolf, his brother Martin Sander, and his sister Hilda Cogar. Melvin was preceded in death by his wife Frances Sander (nee Crawford), and his parents, Fritz and Martha Sander.
