Michael Dennis Schenning, 55, a resident of Glen Burnie for 32 years, passed away on October 27th at the University of Maryland Medical Center after a long illness.
He was born March 8, 1955, in Baltimore, and attended Essex Community College, where he received his Associate's degree. He retired after 25 years of service as a police officer for Anne Arundel County. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and enjoyed golfing, playing softball with the "Lawmen" team and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores R. Schenning.
Michael is survived by his fiancee' of six years, Sheila Patrick; daughter, Pamela Hoebeke and her husband Bradley; son, Justin Page; stepdaughter, Katelyn Patrick; two grandchildren, Abigayle and Dominic Hoebeke; father, Bernard J. Schenning Jr.; and four siblings, Bernard J. Schenning III and wife Elizabeth, Karen Eaves and husband Mark, Joseph Schenning and wife Donna, and Dolores Turbin and husband Donald.
