Michael Swierczewski

SWIERCZEWSKI, Michael Joseph, 69, of Severn, passed away on March 25, 2014. Michael was born on March 13, 1945 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Mary and Joseph Swierczewski. He earned his Master's Degree from the University of Delaware and went on to work as a mathematician at N.S.A. Michael was a member of the Polish Library Association and enjoyed computer programming and gaming, crossword puzzles, walking around the mall, he was a moderator for a math website "Brain Den", and most of all, he loved being with his family.
Michael is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Sheila C. Swierczewski; his beloved children, Judy Swierczewski, Peggy Boney, Michael (Dawn) Swierczewski, Christopher Swierczewski, and James Swierczewski; his cherished grandchildren, Jacob Swierczewski, Brian Blackwell, and Kate Boney; and his dear sisters, Mary Anne Stawicki and Mary Helen Lagowski. He was preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Swierczewski.
