WAGNER, Michael Joseph, Sr., 72, of Glen Burnie, passed away on February, 13, 2014. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 20, 1941 to the late May and Harry Wagner. Michael was Owner and President of Michael's 8th Avenue and Maryland State Senator for 16 years. He was a member of the Masons Sincerity Lodge, Senates Past, Friends of Ferndale, and Ferndale Civic Association. Michael enjoyed gardening (especially growing tomatoes), golfing, and working.
Michael is survived by his cherished wife of 52 years, Carol A. Wagner; his beloved children, Michael J. Wagner Jr. and Scott P. Wagner; his loving grandchildren, Sarah E. Wagner, Luke A. Wagner, Macey M. Wagner, Andrew D. Wagner, and Brady M. Wagner; and his dear siblings, Peggy Gellert, Gardner "Butch" Wagner, and George M. Wagner.
