Michelle Kucera

On January 26, 2017, Michelle Juanita Kucera, "Shelly", 50, passed away at Calvert Memorial Hospital after her valiant battle with cancer. Shelly was born on January 21, 1967, in Laurel, MD and raised in Pasadena, MD. She graduated Chesapeake High School, Class of 1985, and later graduated from Anne Arundel Community College with a Paralegal degree. Shelly was a human resources manager and was a member of the SHRM (Human Resources Group) and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. She loved riding motorcycles, traveling - especially to Disney World, reading, and spending time with her pugs.
Shelly is survived by her devoted husband of seven years, Ronald A. Kucera; her beloved daughter, Emily Hubbard; her cherished parents, Carolyn and Eddie Edwards; and her loving siblings, Tracey Ramp and Bill Flester.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie on Tuesday, January 31st , from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, February 1st, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Griffith Family Cemetery in Severn. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Shelly's name may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
