Mildred Drury

On November 14, 2010, Mildred G. Drury, a resident of Linthicum for 58 years, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of 24 years to the late Roland Drury; loving mother of Robert W. Drury, Kenneth L. Drury, and the late Thomas R. Drury; dear mother-in-law to Kathleen, Nancy, and Margaret "Peggy" Drury; cherished grandmother of James Drury, Roland Drury, Colleen Metler, Kenneth, Kevin, and Matthew Drury; dear sister of Alice R. Prodoehl and her two children James J. Prodoehl and Deborah L. March. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Gordon Cox, James Cox, Elsie Ensiminger, and Herman Cox. Mildred was born in Calvert County, Maryland on June 18, 1920 to the late James and Sadie Cox. She was employed with Sears in the catalog department for 17 years. Mildred was a member with the Eastern Star, AARP, and Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church, where she was an active member. Mildred greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, yard work, roses, watching the Orioles, traveling, and antique car shows.
