Mina Wright

September 1, 1921 — February 18, 2008

On February 18, 2008, Mina "Meemaw" Wright passed on. Mina was dearly loved by her late husband of 43 years, Norman W. Wright; her loving daughters, Norma Giunta, Lindy Arvey and Cathy Caster; her dear sister, Loretta Milleker; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Mina was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1921. She lived in Glen Burnie, Maryland for 56 years. Mina was a factory worker in food service for 30 years. She was also a manager at the Cakery Bakery in Sun Valley during her career. She was a dedicated member of the Marley United Methodist Church in Glen Burnie and the Methodist Women Outreach for the Homeless and Needy Children. She enjoyed many hobbies in life including playing slots, fishing and gardening. She was a woman who enjoyed eating out with her family and friends. She loved taking care of her pet Beagle, Molly. Mina was a "Tree Hugger" in life. She was dedicated to nature and enjoyed "Nature Walking". Mina was a lovely woman who will be missed by many.
