Brian J. Whaite, 73, of Millersville, passed away on September 13, 2019. Brian was born in 1946 in Maine to the late Glen G. Whaite and Virginia Whaite. After marrying his wife, Jo Ann, of 50 years they lived in Massachusetts for a year before moving to the Millersville area where they have lived for the last 50 years. He served in the Army for 4 years while in the Army, he traveled to Turkey and Alaska. He worked for the DOD for 30 years. Brian loved to play golf, watch T.V., play on the computer and read. He also loved his cats, especially his cat Teddy. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jo Ann Whaite; 3 sisters and 1 brother, brother-in-law, Michael Gollucci (Jan), sister-in-law, Rose Cayer (Rich), Neice, Christine Desrochers, and nephew, Sean Desrochers. He is preceded in death by his nephew, Matthew Sheehy. He will also be greatly missed by many of his golf buddies, especially Ted, Bill, and Dave.
The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave SW (at Crain Hwy) Glen Burnie on Wednesday, September, 18th from 3-7pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, September 19th at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Last Chance Animal Rescue at www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org
