Earl George Laurie Sr.

Earl George Laurie Sr., 79, of Jessup, passed away at Forest Haven Nursing Home on December 13, 2019. He was born in Washington, DC to the late George and Florence (Howard) Laurie. He enjoyed going to car shows, antiquing, dancing, listening to music and was an avid sports fan, especially boxing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Gilbert.

Earl is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra K. Laurie; loving sons, Earl G. Laurie Jr. (Lisa Rossi) and Eric Laurie (Michelle); and his cherished grandson, Kyle Laurie.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Tuesday, Dec. 17th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Weds., 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, MD.
