Franklin David Whittaker

Franklin David Whittaker, 86, of Glen Burnie, passed away on November 7, 2019. Franklin was born on June 6, 1933 to Walter and Violet Whittaker in Princeton, West Virginia he was 1 of 17 kids. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He also worked as a Printing Foreman for Diamond Press for many years. He married the love of his life, Carlus Jane in April of 1959 and was almost married to her for 50 years before her passing in May of 2008. Franklin enjoyed watching the Baltimore Orioles play and being with family. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carlus Jane Whittaker. He is survived by his children, William Whittaker (Janice), Donna Day (Richard), Jack Whittaker (Connie), and Karen Whittaker, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Tuesday, Nov. 12th from 11am-1pm with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following at 1PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
