“Butch” Harry O. Wilbur Jr., 74, of Millersville passed away on November 12, 2019. Butch was born on October 4, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Harry and Pauline Wilbur. Butch served his country proudly in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He worked as a machinist and started his own company, Unique Machining in 1986. Butch was known for his kind heart, his strong work ethic, and was a very proud Republican. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Sharon Wilbur; his son Duane Wilbur and his wife, Polly; his grandchildren, Ryan Blakely, Duane Wilbur Jr., William Wilbur, Joshua Wilbur; his sister, Virginia White; brother, Richard Wilbur; and his mother-in-law, Thelma. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Shari Ann, and his 3 sisters, Ruthie, Lindia and Pauline.
The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave SW (at Crain Hwy) Glen Burnie on Saturday, November 16th, from 3-5 & 7-9PM. Interment at MD Veterans Cemetery-Crownsville on Friday, Nov. 22nd, at 1:45 PM. Anyone wishing to attend, the family asks that you meet at the cemetery.
