Hugh Siar, 72, of Queenstown, Maryland passed away on March 13, 2020. Hugh was born on January 16, 1948 in Tehran, Iran. He was a truck driver for many years and retired from Giant Food. Hugh’s passion was bowling and served as a former Regional Vice President of the Greater Baltimore USBC, a member of their Hall of Fame and was actively involved in their organization, including serving as a Silver Certificate bowling coach. He also enjoyed music, playing the clarinet, and cooking for his family and friends.

Hugh is survived by his beloved wife of almost 25 years, Janet Siar; his devoted children, Rodger Farrow and his wife, Candy; Pamela Curry and her husband, Jon; and Angela Wolfe; his grandchildren, Avery and his wife, Elle; Stephanie, Zachary, Anthony, Madison, Matthew, Cameron and Arianna; his brothers, Mike, Sean and Earl. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Nicole Bastan-Siar.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Hugh’s name to a Memorial Fund to help junior bowlers, GBUSBC/Youth, PO Box 9033, Baltimore, MD 21222.

Due to the Governor's guidelines set forth on gatherings we are limiting all visitations to immediate family members only and no more then 50 people will be allowed to gathering in the funeral home at one time.
