He enjoyed many interests including a quiet evening on his porch swing with his best friend Connie Riesett after a trip to the casino. He loved to bake and his walnut cake and cookies were loved by many. John was an avid gardener, his green thumb produced many fresh fruits and vegetables. He turned a grapefruit seed into an 8 ft. tree. He even enjoyed lawn work and grass cutting!
John loved life and lived it to the fullest, finding time for boating, fishing, tinkering with his vehicles, coin collecting, and riding his scooter.
John will be remembered as a kind, caring person with a big heart who never said “no”.
