Leroy Elmer Breeden, Jr. “Roy”, 88, of Linthicum, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Roy was born on October 15, 1931, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Mildred and Leroy Breeden, Sr. and graduated from Southern High School in 1949. He was a consulting engineer for RK&K Construction and was a member of TOGOM, Dolliwog Travelers, the Locust Point Over 55 Club, and St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Roy enjoyed golfing, bowling, baseball, traveling, and BINGO.
Roy was predeceased by his devoted wife of 62 years, Monnie D. Breeden. He is survived by his loving daughters, Barbara Kirk and Patricia (Steve) Peet; his cherished grandchildren, Christopher (Kristen) Kirk and Brandy Peet; and his beloved great-grandsons, Troy and Dustin Kirk.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy), on Wednesday, January 29th, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 30th, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
