Anna Elizabeth Phelps

Anna Elizabeth Phelps, (nee Upton), 89, of North Linthicum, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020. She was born on September 28, 1930 in Baltimore. Anna was predeceased by her devoted husband of over 60 years, George R. Phelps.

She worked as a seamstress for many years at Misty Harbor.  Anna loved to craft, and would often be seen at craft shows throughout Maryland selling her beautiful artful creations. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, crabbing and traveling all over with her late husband, George.  Anna really loved being home and being with her family.

She is survived by her loving children, Joseph (Dottie) Phelps, Lou (Bonnie) Phelps, and her cherished grandchildren, Jessica (Dave) Gunter, Stephanie (Ryan) Dempsey, Natalie (Joe) McNally, Josh Phelps, Gregory (Megan) Phelps, her brothers Robert and Billy and sister, Irma, and 10 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Ethan, Braden, Nathan, Jacob, Chance, Meghan, Maura, Mia, and Evan.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1  2nd Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Wednesday, January 8th from 3-5 PM & 7-9 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 9th, at 12 PM, in the funeral home chapel.  Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
