Josephine "Josie"Mary Watts, 77, of Sykesville, formerly a longtime Severn resident completed her life’s journey on July 1, 2019.
Josie was born in Baltimore to the late William and Theresa D’Allesandro she grew up in Baltimore. She married the love of her life Edmond “Ed” C. Watts. Together they raised their two children Theresa and Thomas in Severn. She was a devoted homemaker, and ensured the needs of her family were met. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and crafts. Her passing leaves a void that good memories, of fun times shared as a family will fill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Edmond Watts; cherished daughter, Theresa Hankins. She leaves to cherish precious memories her devoted son, Thomas E. Watts and his wife Sherry; cherished son-in-law, Elbert Hankins; four loving grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, T.J., and Theresa; three precious great-grandchildren, Sienna, Regan, and Kennedy.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm.
