Katherine Lucille Marlow

Katherine Lucille Vick Marlow, 95, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020.  Katherine was born on May 15, 1925, in Richmond, Virginia, to the late Sadie and Guy Vick.  Katherine’s family was the most important thing to her, but she also enjoyed dancing, bowling, and playing shuffle board.

Katherine was predeceased by her devoted husband of 54 years, George E. Marlow, Jr.; her beloved sons, George E. Marlow, III and Warren Lee Marlow; and her dear brother, Guy B. Vick Jr.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda F. Priebe; her cherished grandchildren, Lawrence Priebe, Amy Cox, Guy Marlow; and her dear great-grandchildren, Joshua Priebe, Allyson Priebe, Cody Cox, and Brooke Marlow.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy), on Wednesday, July 15, from 11 AM – 12 noon.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately to follow at 12 noon, in the funeral home chapel.  Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Katherine’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org  OR  Gilchrist Hospice at gilchristcares.org.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are only allowing 40 people inside the funeral home at one time and requiring masks for all visitors.
