Leah Virginia Sappington, 96, of Baltimore, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Leah was born on February 15, 1923, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Grace and Walter Schwabline. She worked at Rheb’s Candy Company, and she enjoyed crocheting, taking care of her dog “Holly,” cooking & baking, and she was a friendly neighbor to all.
Leah was predeceased by her devoted husbands, Albert P. Bull (died in 1956) and John B. Sappington (died in 2002) and her brother, Burchard Schwabline. She is survived by her loving children, Mark Bull, Michael Bull, and Monica Sappington Adams; her cherished grandchildren, Matthew Bull, Nathan Bull, Morgan Adams, and Ryleigh Adams; and her dear sister, Agnes Tudor.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie on Monday, February 17th, from 11 am – 1 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Leah’s name may be made to BARCS at www.barcs.org
