Linda Lee Evans, 58, of Glen Burnie passed away on May 6, 2019. Linda was born in Baltimore to Thomas C. and Joan E. (Dietz) Fraser and raised in Ferndale. She graduated from Archbishop Spalding High School in 1979. She married David Evans in Oct. of 1980. In the past Linda worked at BWMC as an E.E.G. Technician and really enjoyed her work. Linda also enjoyed Walt Disney, Williamsburg, going to the mountains, and gardening. Linda’s creativity was displayed through beautiful art work she created. She will be remembered her strong personality and being a loving and caring mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandson, Hayden David Evans, aunt and uncle, Olive and Les Stanley; maternal and paternal grandparents; and her father-in-law, Robert D. Evans. She is survived by her husband, David Evans; daughters, Amanda Opitz (Sean), Kristan Hanson (Nicholas), Kimberly Saunders (Ryan), and Ashley Twardowski (Andrew); her mother, Joan Fraser; 11 cherished grandchildren; sister, Margaret Swift; and mother-in-law, Gloria Evans; a host of other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Avenue S.W. (at Crain Highway), on Monday, May 13, from 6 to 9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church formerly Holy Trinity on Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society-OR- to a charity to aide in helping those suffering with substance abuse.
