Victor P. Phoebus Jr.

On Saturday, August 22, 2020, Victor P. Phoebus, Jr., 63, of Glen Burnie, passed away at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore.  He was born on August 25, 1956 in Baltimore to the late Annie Mae (Martin) and Victor P. Phoebus, Sr.

In his spare time, Victor enjoyed going to the casinos, going to his cabin in West Virginia, and liked helping people with anything they needed.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Phoebus; three children, Melissa Wotring and husband Brian, Rebecca Bennett and husband Chris, and Joshua Phoebus;  grandchildren, Ethan and Nathaniel Lewis, Dylan Bennett, and Sophia Phoebus; four sisters, Wanda Cope, Bonnie Lewis, Anne Phoebus, and Leslie Chappell; one brother, Dave Martin; and mother-in-law, Rose Wood.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Ray Wood; and one brother, Lou Chappell.

Public viewings will be held on Thursday, August 27 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Chesapeake Christian Center, 206 Weston Woods Drive, Pasadena, MD 21122, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, August 28 at 10am.  Interment will follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD.  Do to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are required for all visitors.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are recommended to Chesapeake Christian Center at the address above.  Online condolences can be made by clicking the Tribute Wall tab above.
