Christina Louise Nazarian

Christina “Tina” Louise Bender Nazarian, 44, of Ferndale passed away on June 3, 2019.

Tina was born at the Roosevelt Naval Hospital in Puerto Rico to Don and Bonnie (Ettinger) Bender, while they were stationed there with the U.S. Navy. She grew up in Ferndale and graduated from the Baltimore School of the Arts, where she gained a lifetime appreciation for all forms of the arts. She went on to attend Towson University and then moved to Florida where she was married and welcomed her first and only child, Maxwell. Tina loved cooking and her enthusiasm naturally passed on to her son who may have been the only toddler able to crack eggs! She had a flourishing career that took her to several parts of Florida with Planet Hollywood and Cheesecake Factory where she worked in management. Tina loved the beach, singing, cooking, and having an all-around good time. She had a huge heart that was evident to all on her best days, and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her devoted parents, Don and Bonnie Bender; her wonderful son, Maxwell Charles Nazarian; her dear sister, Susan Bender O’Connell (Ryan); 3 wonderful nephews, Josh, Jack, and Jonah; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church, 200 School Ln, Linthicum, MD 21090 at 10:00 AM. A brief reception will be held in the Unity Room in the main building following services.
