On March 12, 2017, Nathan G. Brown, Jr. of Millersville, passed away at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Nathan was born on April 2, 1948, in Bel Air, Maryland, to the late Frances and Nathan Brown, Sr. He worked for Westinghouse / Northrop Grumman for 43 years and was a member of Harundale Presbyterian Church. In his younger years, Nathan played trumpet with a few local bands and he enjoyed the outdoors (especially hunting), music, animals, and cars (especially his Mustang).
Nathan is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Doreen F. Brown; his loving children, Sandra Matza, Nathan Brown III, and Diane Rieder; his cherished grandchildren, Donny, Casey, Joel, Jake, Libby, Adam, and Marc; and his beloved great-grandson, Chris.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie on Friday, March 17th, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 18th, at 11 AM at Harundale Presbyterian Church, 1020 East Way, Glen Burnie, MD 21060. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nathan's name may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
